Most people sleep at night and work in the day. The body works best when people sleep for 7-9 hours each day. Most people sleep when the sun is down. To stay healthy, it is also important to eat well. This includes eating vegetables and not eating too many sweet foods. It is also important to exercise often. Staying healthy is hard for everyone, but even harder for some people.
People who need to work at night have trouble staying healthy. Research shows that these people may get sick with diabetes. There are many reasons why these people get sick. One reason is because they do not usually get enough rest. Another reason is because healthyfood is not available during the night, so they do not eat well. Scientists suggest night workers bring food with them to work and sleep more during the day.
