There are many popular diets, and The Paleo Diet is no exception. In this diet, people try to eat like ancient hunter-gathers by eating a lot of meat, fish, fruit, and vegetables. It is called The Paleo Diet because people ate like this during the Paleolithic Age. The Paleo Diet includes a lot of protein, fiber, potassium, and natural vitamins and minerals. Most foods in this diet are not processed.

The Paleo Diet is new but the idea of eating like human ancestors began in the 1970s. Some people think that this diet is good because the human body can digest these foods more easily.These are two examples of Paleo recipes: fresh ceviche with avocado and shrimp and grilled salmon with orange,peach, and raw nuts. Nutritionists suggest using The Paleo Diet as a guide and not a rule; it is a healthy way to eat.
