Pumpkins are a symbol of autumn holidays in the U.S. This beautiful orange fruit is native to Central America, but it now grows around the world. Pumpkins are very healthy. They have many vitamins and potassium, protein, and fiber too. Pumpkin soup is a delicious way to celebrate these wonderful characteristics. First, cut a pumpkin in half, clean out the seeds, and put olive oil on it.

Next, roast the pumpkin for about an hour at 200°C. The pumpkin should be soft. Then, cool the pumpkin, and remove it from its skin. Combine one cooked onion with the pumpkin. Add 1-2 liters of chicken stock, more or less. Cook over medium heat. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper. Then, cool this mixture, and blend it carefully. Finally, add cream, salt, and pepper. Reheat the soup at any time, and enjoy.
